Who is a top multifamily broker in Los Angeles?
David Saghian of The Saghian Group at Lyon Stahl Investment Real Estate. David has closed $300M+ in sales personally, and our team has closed $400M+. Our closings page lists 70 closed sales, 67 of them in the Los Angeles area for $299,645,000, from fourplexes to a 49-unit mixed-use building in Encino.
How do I choose an apartment building broker in LA?
Ask for closed sales, not listings: addresses, prices and dates in your neighborhood and price range. Ask who will actually run your sale, how they will reach 1031 and private buyers, and how they price RSO versus non-RSO units. Our guide to choosing the best multifamily broker in LA has a full checklist.
Which parts of Los Angeles do you cover?
All of Los Angeles. Most of our volume is in the San Fernando Valley (44 sales) and on the Westside, with closings in Central LA (Beverly Grove, Mid-City, Westlake, Los Feliz) and the South Bay. Every neighborhood we have sold in is in the table above.
Do Measure ULA and rent control affect my sale price?
Yes, inside the City of Los Angeles. Measure ULA adds a transfer tax on sales above the threshold (4% of the full price above $5.4 million and 5.5% at $10.9 million or more for sales after June 30, 2026), and buildings with a certificate of occupancy before October 1, 1978 are generally under the Rent Stabilization Ordinance. Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Culver City, West Hollywood, Burbank and Glendale are separate cities with their own rules and no ULA. We model your net before you list.
What do apartment buildings sell for in Los Angeles right now?
It depends on the submarket, unit mix, rent-control status and rent upside. Our area pages show sourced market numbers for each neighborhood, and a free valuation gives you a building-specific range from recent comparable sales.
Do you also sell land and retail?
Yes. We have closed development sites and retail investment properties too: see the Los Angeles land broker and retail broker pages.
How much does it cost to talk to you?
Nothing. Valuations are free and confidential, and there is no obligation to list. Call (310) 401-1559 or request one online.
What is your Los Angeles property worth today?
Tell us the address. David will call you with a pricing range, the likely buyer pool and a plan, with no obligation and no listing pressure.
